In 1900 The great grandfather, Jad Hanna Kattouf, starts working in silver jewellery production in Haifa city

1907

Jad Hanna Kattouf adds gold to his products thus transforming into a goldsmith and later joined by his two sons, Hanna and Bassila Sr

1948

War separates the two brothers, Hanna seeks refuge in Beirut while Bassila remains

1950

Bassila Sr. and Mahassen - his wife, open a small workshop in the old city of Nazareth.

1985

Opening of the Kattouf Merry's Well Shop in Nazareth Merry's Well Square Area, considered the flag shop of the Kattouf Brand and the Largest one.

1990

Firsts steps towards globalization, exports of Kattouf diamond jewellery to California - USA and Belgium starts to take place.

04/2018

70 years after moving out, Kattouf makes its way back to the Founders Original city - Haifa, with an establishment of a Kattouf Store in the German Colony Str.
