Overview
The modern Tabar Hotel is located in the city of Nazareth in the heart of the Galilee and near the center of Nazareth and is considered an excellent place for pilgrims, local tourists and from abroad to experience attractions for trips, tours and visits to the holy sites of the Galilee and the north.
Construction of the Tabar Hotel on a hill overlooking the city of Nazareth, Mount Tabor and the Jezreel Valley, began in 1959 under the name Grand Hotel which officially opened in 1961 and included 54 rooms and was the first hotel in Nazareth and offered comfortable and modern accommodation for Christian pilgrims visiting the Holy Land. Rooms 38 and the reception hall was expanded and also the restaurant was expanded, in 1988, the reception hall and the kitchen were expanded again to accommodate up to 600 people.
Since 2005, the Tabar Hotel has been run by Mr. Wissam Tabar, the third generation of the family, and includes 90 rooms spread over 5 floors and equipped with a shower room with private bath or shower, air conditioning, heating, terrace, telephone, LCD TV and a variety of channels.
The Tabar Hotel was renovated again in 2011, and is located close to attractions in the city of Nazareth: the Old City, the Basilica of the Annunciation, the Jezreel Valley and Mount Tabor and many other historical and religious sites and sites.
